Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation System Contract AWARDED to ICS
Paramus, NJ - December, 2003 - Indus Consultancy
Services (ICS) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded
the Workers’ Compensation System Contract by Rhode Island
Department of Administration/Office of Purchases, on behalf of
the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, Division of
Injured Workers’ Services (DWC).
ICS has been selected to implement an updated Workers’
Compensation Information System where ICS will provide
software, system integration services, data conversion, training
and support. The goal of this project is allow DWC to centralize,
integrate and convert existing information into one cohesive,
seamless system while maintaining functionality from the existing
applications. The system would use a single browser interface
(system) for internal DWC staff and external users such as
Insurance Carriers, Employers, Attorneys, and general public to
use. Once implemented the system would improve data accuracy and
increased user efficiency.
